Medium red in color, the 2020 Barolo Badarina displays a more savory and spiced pro le, with notes of dried cranberries, mint, pine needles, and orange rind. Midweight and light on its feet, it’s ripe, though it feels a bit dilute, with ne tannins and a clean nish. It is a charming Barolo to enjoy over the near term. (Audrey Frick)

Rich ruby in hue, the 2020 Barolo Bricco Ambrogio offers notes of licorice, red cherries, menthol, and cedar. Medium-bodied, it retains good freshness and nice concentration while being light on its feet, with a clean, tapered nish.
